Thurrock Marching Brass Board Strengthened with new appointment.

It gives me great pleasure to confirm that Roy Flint has been appointed as a full Trustee and will sit on the board of Thurrock Marching Brass. Roy was formally appointed on 29th November 2018 and will serve for the next three years.

For those that do not know Roy, he joined Thurrock Drum & Trumpet Corps in 1977 and continued as a marching member of Thurrock Marching Brass until 1982 as one of our principal soloists on Trumpet.

Since then Roy pursued a very successful career in the world of Financial Services and has been appointed to various Managing Director and Executive Committee member positions helping to lead the way and automate the world of Capital Markets. During his career he has spent much of his time out of the country managing Technology and Infrastructure for a number of prominent companies.

His extensive business, commercial and cultural knowledge will help assist us in taking the next step as an organisation and I am thrilled that we be working closely with him to affect success in our goals over the coming months and years.

I have included Roy’s Linkedin profile for your interest. https://www.linkedin.com/in/roy-flint-7165991a/

I am delighted to welcome Roy to the board and to ask you all to share with me in congratulating him on his new appointment.
