Thurrock Marching Brass to host WGI Regional and Indoor Music Games event

Thurrock Marching Brass are absolutely thrilled at being host to the very first WGI ( Regional here in the UK for WGI Winds and WGI Percussion and to host our third Indoor Music Games ( Essex event on Saturday 11 May 2019 at the Basildon Sporting Village.

With the Indoor Music Games starting to get some real momentum the WGI Regional adds an exciting layer to what is on offer and with a total of 27 performances on the day there really is something for everyone, young and old.

Please come along to join us all as we celebrate all that is good with music and movement and help us give the inaugural WGI Regional a roaring Essex launch.

Speaking of the event, show Director and TMB Trustee, Steve Hall comments "It is such a great location for this event, being in the very epicenter of the Essex marching and musical performance scene both in times gone by and currently and the added excitement of the event also growing to become the very first WGI Regional here in the UK makes this years show day all the more special. With the UK represented from far and wide in England and Scotland as well as international entries from Indonesia all 4 classes will provide the very best in a wide array of entertainment for everyone. We hope you can join us on the day. I would like to wish all performers the very best of luck"

Adding to this, TMB Chairman and IMG Board member, Paul Morgan says "What a thrill to be starting the journey of international respect and friendship that I hope will build and get stronger each year. Steve Hall and his incredible team are working tirelessly to ensure that the event runs smoothly and with a record 27 performances on the day there really will be something for everyone. We launch WGI Winds and WGI Percussion officially plus there are two very exciting IMG Classes in Music Ensemble and Concert Class that adds such a wonderful mix of performance on the day.
