Formed in the 45th anniversary year, the entire percussion section, which also featured the Thurrock Academy Colourguard, has gone from strength to strength since launching. An integral part of the band this group also competes in its on WGI Percussion class

and features all types pf percussion instrument both marching and static. There is

something for everyone in this section and this highly energetic group welcome newcomers who want a sense of fun, achievement and camaraderie. Kids just love to use their

energies by making lots of percussive noises!
